Live Out Loud works in close partnership with families / family members of children and young people living with a mild to moderate general intellectual / learning disability.
Live Out Loud collaboratively designs support, intervention and programmes to meet the strengths, challenges and needs of families / family members in their life journey by acknowledging, realising and celebrating the family’s unique strengths, abilities and expertise; to facilitate inclusion; and to enhance wellness and quality of life for all members of the family.
Live Out Loud provides specialised, tailor-made and collaboratively designed support and intervention to families / family members in order for families to:
- facilitate children / young people to participate optimally in the mainstream and community settings
- optimise children / young people’s learning opportunities in all life settings
- support transitions for children / young people from one setting to the next
